  My own daughter has much suffered; she will get justice in due time.

  just learned today direct from my beloved daughter that she has been abused between 5 and 12 years old by 2 brothers (her own cousins) and 1 family "friend".

  she has attempted suicide a few days ago.

  luckily she is living and she is not physically injured.

  Why not? Did you see yourself as superior to the other members of the congregation, or did you feel you had an "extra" guardian angel assigned to you?

  Or was it simply that you KNEW you were meeting all the requirements and were confident of Jah's protection, while none of us can be really sure how our neighbor might be acting "in secret" or harboring in their heart?

  I'm sorry your daughter had this experience and I hope she can learn that SHE has no guilt in this matter and her value as a human being is not diminished.

  Michael Brown verdict discussion policy

  it's likely that the grand jury verdict on the michael brown incident will be released in the coming days or weeks.. i've no doubt many people are going to feel strongly about things whatever the verdict is.. whatever the outcome though, here's what's not going to happen:.

  we're not going to put up with inflamatory language and comments designed to rile others up.

  be respectful.. we will not allow accusations of racism simply because some have a view of the verdict that contradicts others.. there will not be invented evidence or claims being repeated - if it's been falsely reported or debunked then it's off limits.. it's not going to be an opportunity for people to air past gripes over past discussions.. if you feel that you cannot discuss the subject in a rational way then it may be better to simply avoid any topics on the matter.. please try to be objective and respectful if you do decide to comment and not keen to take offense.

  If the Chinese are concerned, they might ask how their reputation as food adulterers and POISONERS is affecting the willingness of other countries to trade with China. Until then they can eat their melamine-laced cake.

  Compare and contrast the PRC (Red China) with Taiwan, which long ago made a decision to become a responsible member of the world community, which is why Red China wants to DESTROY them.

  If they like, they can make a bid for Chairman Obama's gentle ministrations after his term expires here. Maybe "The Messiah" will save the PRC; he >>is<< a gen-u-wine friggin' genius, y'know. Just ask him!

You can tell the difference because real bullshit smells like the circle of life and Watchtower bullshit smells like dead dogma, twice fried.

  i have always thanked randy/dogpatch for creating free-minds because i always felt i was the only one that felt that jw's were teaching some nonsense.

  i admit i still think they got some of their teachings correct but one doctrine i think is full of bologne is the 1000 year reign doctrine.

  if jesus came into power in 1914 and now it is 2014 does that mean jws believe it will only be a 900 year reign?
